Oregon Ducks Quarterback Vernon Adams Named Pac-12 Player of the Week

Following a performance like Saturday, it was a no brainer that Oregon Ducks Quarterback Vernon Adams was named Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week for his six touchdown performance in the teams seventh straight victory against the USC Trojans last weekend. Adams had more touchdowns then incomplete passes on Saturday and threw the ball to six different Wide Receivers for scores throwing for 407 yards on the evening. The game marked the most ever touchdown by a single quarterback against USC in their history according to the Pac-12

Adams won the award for Pac-12 Player of the week on November 2nd giving him the award twice this season. Vernon Adams has also received recognition. He was also named Walter Camp Player of the Week. Adams has thrown for 2080 yards this season to go with 22 touchdowns in 2015. The Oregon Quarterback was also named FWAA Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against the Trojans. Now healthy, Adams is showing fans the reason why Oregon Coaches wanted him to come to Oregon and excel at this level.

Over the last seven weeks, Adams has done most of his work on the road for the Oregon Ducks and will now finish out his college career with one final game, but not just any game. A Civil War. Oregon State comes to Autzen on Friday with State bragging rights on the line. The 2015 version of the Civil War kicks off on Friday at 1pm Pacific Time on Fox Sports 1.
