The Oregon Ducks managed to get through the 2015 season with a 9-3 record and were denied their 10th win of the season once again without a Starting Quarterback. Vernon Adams picked up where he left off for most of the season putting up 31 points quickly with Darren Carrington hauling in the first score of the game. He departed just before halftime and did not return putting the ball in the hands of Backup Jeff Lockie who once again showed he is not the right man to lead the Oregon Ducks as they gave up 31 points to TCU to tie and lost in the Third Overtime.

Now, players will take some time off to decide their future. Byron Marshall has already decided his future is in the NFL. Vernon Adams is gone following his one year with Oregon. Dwayne Stanford, Bralon Addison and Royce Freeman have yet to determine where they will play next season, but one Oregon Duck spoke with a local tv station in his hometown last last week to announce his decision.

Darren Carrington will return to the University of Oregon in 2016 according to 247Sports. Carrington is the only pure Wide Receiver on the Oregon Ducks roster and when he returned from suspension from the Rose Bowl last season, he provided an instant spark to the Oregon Offense and gelled quickly with Adams as a go to receiver. As a Sophomore he had over 600 yards and six touchdowns and was a key contributor to the six game winning streak to close out the regular season that allowed Oregon to earn a spot in the Alamo Bowl.
