Two teams made a trade in the NFL Draft. It will be a trade that will be talked about for years. The Tennessee Titans sent their number one overall pick West to the Los Angles Rams, a team looking to re-identify with one of the largest markets in the country.

On Wednesday, Tennessee hosted DeForest Buckner who will now not likely be in the cards with the Titans first pick, now at 15. The Titans will also make 5 other picks between 16 and 76 in the 2016 NFL Draft. It is an opportunity to get better and have a noticible improvement this season. There is also a nice opportunity to build around Quarterback Marcus Mariota and go after some big areas of need including the Offensive and Defensive Lines and at Running Back.

The bigger part of this story, for now, is the Los Angeles Rams. Fans of the franchise now have appointment viewing for the evening of April 28th as a historic pick will be made as the team returns to Los Angeles. It will most likely be a Quarterback to build around, but will it be California native Jared Goff from Cal or someone else?

Tennessee is the ultimate winner here with six picks in the first three rounds, and four in the first two – not to mention a one and a three next year. Now, the Titans are in one of the best positions in the entire Draft. while they no longer have the number one pick, if they choose, they could easily move some of their picks and move up in any round. If they were smart they would make the most of their options. Of course the most may include making a move.

If they use what they currently have, Tennessee could pick up the quality of the team for years to come. The 2016 NFL Draft begins on April 28th and concludes April 30th.
