The Oregon Ducks face Portland on Tuesday before resuming Pac-12 Play this weekend.

The Oregon Ducks Baseball team can make a move on Tuesday and add two wins to their tally as they face Portland. The team will finish a game from last month where they lead 3-1, followed by the game of the day against Portland set to start no later than 6pm depending on the conclusion of the suspended game  from April.

George Horton watched his team battle and fight for two wins over the weekend against In State Rival Oregon State. Cole Irvin threw a quality seven inning start for the victory on Friday, the first win by Oregon in Corvallis since baseball was reinstated. David Peterson took the loss on Saturday.

Matt Mercer, Brac Warren and Coel Stringer gave the Oregon Offense a chance on Sunday in the series finale against Oregon State. The Ducks would win the game 6-3 and Closer Stephen Nagosek closed out the final two innings with a save.

Mercer picked up his second win on the year throwing six quality innings scattering five hits and striking out six Beavers.

As it stands, Oregon is just three games out of first place in the Pac-12 entering this weekend and are in fifth place in the Conference Standings, but before they can get to the weekend, they need to wrap up two games against Portland.
