Pac-12 Week In Review: Teams Took Down Mostly Mediocre Competition

The Conference of Champions had a solidWeek 2 as several teams rolled over the competition.

PAC-12 teams went 8-2 with Stanford and Oregon State having an early season bye week It’s a nice warm-up given how many high profile games come our way next week for conference teams.

As for those two defeats Cal fell to San Diego State, who dating back to last season has one of the longest win streaks in the country.

Washington State made a short trek to Boise where they lost a close contest against the Broncos. Both teams lost by a combined eight points while playing away from home on Saturday.

Arizona State put up 68 points on Texas Tech which is you stayed up for it all more power to you. Utah outlasted BYU in the Holy War after the Cougars went for the win (ok after was when Kyle Whittingham talked with Shannon Spake) going for two.

Arizona needed a big second half to defeat Grambling which occurred scoring outscoring them 28-0. UCLA and USC get got on the winning track defeating UNLV and Utah State.

Colorado and Washington took care of Idaho and Idaho State respectively at home as each are now 2-0. Oregon allowed a lot yards but held off Virginia as they remain unbeaten.

This week conference foes will face BYU (again), No. 4 Michigan, Nebraska and No. 11 Texas in addition to the Cardinal and Trojans opening conference play.
