The anticipation is building for the Oregon Men’s Basketball team. There are some that say they have a chance to win it all in 2016 and on Media Day Thursday we saw a very good sign. Dylan Brooks was on the court and his recovery from off season foot surgery is going well. How well?

He walked out and sat down without a ‘boot’ on his foot which he said was taken off yesterday. His recovery from foot surgery is still in progress and the Doctors ultimately have the say in when he will be ready to play again. No timetable was given for his return, but with the boot off I would think it would be sooner rather than later.

Brooks said he was able to see a different game during the Ducks trip to Spain last month that could help him this season, “It gives you another perspective on the game…when we were in Spain I saw the game very differently. In my mind we can go very far in the Non-Conference, Pac-12 and the post season.”

Last season, Dylan Brooks led the team to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament and was runner up for Pac-12 Player of the Year.
