The Oregon Ducks face their biggest challenge of 2016 with a Top 5 ranked Washington team coming into Autzen Stadium

FINAL – Ducks Defense Falls Flat In 70-21 Loss

Oregon Gameday Preview

One of the longest running rivalry winning streaks in the Nation could come to an end on Saturday. The Oregon Ducks are having a season unlike one they have had in the last decade. With three straight losses, Mark Helfrich is looking to right the ship against a Washington Huskies team that smells blood in the water and is greatly improved on the Defensive side of the ball.

The Huskies are for real giving up just 12 points per game this season on Defense and wreaked havoc on a higher ranked Stanford team last weekend in a 44-6. Christian McCaffrey, the Cardinal’s best chance at the Heisman Trophy this season, was limited to under 50 yards in the game. Washington saw seven sacks on Defense. It could be a very long afternoon for Oregon fans with a Freshman Offensive Line. Keep in mind that growing pains are necessary Oregon may very well have one of the best O-Lines in the nation, but in 2017.

Earlier this week Steve Greatwood said that the streak would not end today. If the Ducks Defense is able to get it together and figure out the 4-3 scheme it could be a very good afternoon for Freshman Troy Dye. Experience is not on the side of Oregon, but with Washington this time around.

Kickoff is set for 4:30pm Pacific Time on FOX. Autzen Zoo will have Live Coverage starting at 3:30pm PT from the Autzen Stadium Press Box.
