The Oregon Ducks picked up one of the biggest commitment in the team’s history on Monday.

5-Star Shooting Guard Troy Brown announced from Las Vegas that he was attending the University of Oregon with more fanfare than any athlete I’ve seen in recent memory. He made the announcement from the top of the Stratosphere in Las Vegas.

Brown is ranked highly across numerous scouting services. 27Sports lists him as the best Small Forward in Nevada and third best at his position. Scout.com lists Brown third best at his position and 11th Best in the Nation. It should not be difficult for him to find himself on the floor at Matthew Knight Arena next season.

With the unknowns after the 2016 season it is possible that Troy Brown could find a key Starting Role with the team for an extended period Of course seeing him alongside Dillon Brooks or Tyler Dorsey should have Oregon fans salivating.

Oregon Ducks Head Coach Dana Altman is in his seventh season at the helm and has proven that if you come to Oregon, you can win. The Ducks are looking to get back to the NCAA Tournament and begin the season ranked in the Top 5 in both the Associated Press and Coaches Polls.
