Oregon Ducks fall in Latest Associated Press Top 25.

Dana Altman knew games at the beginning of the season would test his team. One game in particular may end up being a ‘good loss’ for the Oregon Ducks.

The Baylor Bears took care of the Oregon Ducks earlier this month in Texas and also beat Michigan State last week. Now they are ranked in the top ten at number 8 and still undefeated on the season. The Oregon Ducks have stumbled, including a recent loss against Georgetown in Hawaii and have slipped to 23 in the Associated Press poll.

Kentucky and Villanova are the top two teams this week followed by North Carolina. Duke moved back into the top five at 5 after a loss last week. The Pac-12 also saw some additional movement this week.

The UCLA Bruins are off to a 7-0 start and are on the cup of the top ten at 11. (Oregon will begin Pac-12 play against UCLA on December 28th). Arizona is ranked 16 this week.

The Oregon Ducks have a December advantage in they will play all their games at Matthew Knight Arena. They will not see a road game the rest of 2016 and that will give the team time to get some work done. Dillon Brooks returned to the lineup and will get stronger over the next month as the team prepares to enter Pac-12 play.
