The Oregon Women’s Basketball team lost on the road against an up-tempo and Post Season ready UCLA Bruins team.

It was not easy to watch on Sunday. Following two wins over Pac-12 foes Cal and USC the Bruins were too much for the Oregon Ducks to handle. One bright spot for Oregon was Ruthy Hebard who had a big inside presence with 29 points off 11 for 15 shooting. She had 9 rebounds, one away from a double-double

Kelly Graves watched his team keep it close in the second quarter, but UCLA proved to be too much in the third and began to pull away. The Ducks fought back on two occasions but fell in the end. UCLA has won 22 straight homes games and Oregon wraps a tough road trip at an optimistic 2-2.

Oregon has faced six Top 25 teams and have a record of 2-4 against them early in the Pac-12 Conference and Non-Conference season with time and room to build chemistry the rest of the way. Following two weeks on the road, a homecoming will be welcomed.

The Oregon Ducks have a few days to prepare for Colorado Friday at Matthew Knight Arena on Friday at 6pm Pacific Time. The game will be broadcast on Pac-12 Network.
