Oregon Softball begins another season under Mike White in less than ten days and the team will start the year ranked.

Last season, the Oregon Softball team lost a brutal series at home against UCLA sending the Bruins to the College World Series. A new season brings some new faces and some old as the Spring Sports Season begins.

In the Preseason ESPN/USA Today Softball Top 25, two Pac-12 teams are in the Top Ten. The Bruins begin the 2017 campaign in 8th, Oregon starts the season ranked 9th. Oklahoma took the top spot in the opening rankings and also earned all 20 First Place Votes. The Sooners are followed by Auburn, Florida, Florida State, and LSU. Oregon will host Florida State during the 2017 season at Jane Sanders Stadium.

Oregon Ducks Softball won’t see a home game until March. It seems to be standard procedure, at least over the last few years. The Ducks open at the Kajikawa Classic on February 9th against Virginia.

The Ducks open the season at Jane Sanders Stadium hosting the Oregon Invitational. Oregon will face Hofstra, Idaho State, and Pacific. Mike White and the Ducks host a three games series with the Florida State Seminoles May 6th and 7th.
