The Oregon Men’s Basketball stepped up to hit 65 percent from the floor in a blowout win over Arizona on Saturday.

It was the Pac-12 Game of the Year and the Oregon Ducks did not disappoint. Tyler Dorsey found his early season form to lead with 23 points. He was 6 for 6 from three-point range as Dana Altman watched Oregon take a 6-5 lead and never look back. Oregon pushed their lead to 20 points by halftime.

Arizona had no answers for the Oregon Defense who stepped up with 7 blocks and 8 steals and forced 13 Wildcat turnovers. The Ducks turned those turnovers into 30 points. Efficiency is measured by Assists and the Ducks were very efficient. Oregon had 26 assists against Arizona, second to only Savannah State and 36 assists.

Respect is earned and I believe the Oregon Ducks are on the right track. A win over Arizona will get them back inside the Top Ten, but continuing to win will get them to their ultimate goal. The Oregon Men’s Basketball team will see Matthew Knight Arena just two more times this season. The Ducks finish the regular season with the majority of their games on the road starting this week.
