Oregon Softball Picks Up Two More Wins At Kajikawa Classic

Oregon Ducks Softball continued their hot start to the season on Saturday with a convincing win and another run-ruled game.

Mike White and the Oregon Ducks Softball team appear primed for Pac-12 Conference play just four games into the season. On the second day of the Kajikawa Classic, Oregon picked up wins over San Jose State and Fresno State.

Nikki Udria and Maddi Bishop helped the Ducks to a run-ruled win. They combined for four hits, three runs and Bishop added four RBI’s as the Oregon Offense appears to be in mid season gear. Miranda Elish had an impressive first career start She gave up three hits over a full six innings of work as the Ducks took care of San Jose State 8-0.

The doubleheader tournament continued with Fresno State. Nikki Udria continued with the hot bat wtih two hits, a run, and 2 RBI’s against the 24th ranked Bulldogs. Freshman Maggie Balint took to the circle and gave up a run on three hits. She struck out 11 batters. Oregon won their 4th straight game 4-1.

Oregon faces Seattle U(8:30am PT) on Saturday, their only game of the day. The Ducks close out the Kajikawa Classic Sunday against Cal Poly (8am Pacific Time).
