The Oregon Ducks begin the 2017 College Baseball season opening a four games series at Fresno State on Friday.

It is hard to believe that the College Baseball season is here. The season begins this weekend for George Horton and the Oregon Ducks. There are plenty of new faces on the the team, along with a few familiar ones. Jake Bennett will lead the Offense and the middle of the lineup. He will also be a key player on Defense in the outfield after Oregon lost Jakob Goldfarb to a foot injury in the preseason.

From the mound, Oregon has David Peterson, Matt Mercer and Cole Stringer to open the series. Experience from the mound is good thing to have. Oregon enters the season with expectations, but no ranking from the polls to start the year.
