Oregon Ducks Dillon Brooks Does It Again, Drops Game Winner vs Cal

Oregon Ducks find a way to claw back against Cal on the road as Dillon Brooks again finds the spotlight.

There are games that you win by a big margin, and days that the ball for whatever reason won’t fall your way. The Oregon Ducks appeared to be in one of those games Wednesday night on the road against the California Golden Bears. Oregon shot 7 for 24 to open the game for just 16 points for the entire first half. They did not land a three-pointer till the start of the second half vs the Golden Bears.

The Oregon Comeback took the entire second half as Cal had 14 turnovers in the game. When Oregon had an opportunity to get the game back to single digits, the Golden Bears seemed to have answer until the final minutes of the game. Oregon chipped away wiith double digit runs on just 46 percent shoting. The Ducks were out rebounded by Cal for the game.

Chris Boucher scored all 18 of his points in the second half that led up to a shot by Dillon Brooks with under 10 seconds left that gave Oregon a 68-65 lead with .02 left on the clock. Brooks againsho wed why he is the best player in the Pac-12 this season as the Ducks kept pace with Arizona taking care of the first part of business beating Cal.

The Stanford Cardinal await Oregon next before a final regular season game at Oregon State.
