Oregon Football is looking toward the future and offered the brother of Quarterback Justin Herbert earlier this week.

Patrick Herbert is the younger sibling of Justin Herbert and was offered by the Oregon Ducks, but fans have a few seasons to wait before he may be in an Oregon uniform. Willie Taggart has been very proactive since he became Head Coach. His recruiting technique shows he is clearly not afraid to look ahead.

The younger Herbert is a member of the 2019 Recruiting Class. Quick math says that Justin Herbert will be entering his Senior season in 2019.

Patrick Herbert has yet to hit the radar on 247Sports, but according to the Oregonian, those following him have been impressed with his ability. From the start, Taggart has stressed the importance of keeping In-State recruits at home.

The younger Herbert is poised to become a breakout star for Sheldon High School in Eugene, Oregon. Football is in his genes and the Oregon Football Coach may have set an early precedent for the future.
