Since his departure drugs have been a big part of Lyerla’s Story. He spent time with the Green Bay Packers, but tore his MCL before the 2015 season started. He was released and was recently with the Arena Football League as a Wide Receiver according to Wikipedia. As hard as he tried, it seems his drug problems keep catching up to him.

The felony charge will likely lead to jail time for the former Oregon Football Tight End. According to the report from the Daily Emerald the charge could come with as much as 10 years in Prison and is considered a Class B Felony.

Court records list him as a ‘transient’ with no resident address.
