The Oregon Ducks lost a winnable game Friday night vs Cal and could springboard into the postseason with a win over the Stanford Cardinal Sunday.

Both teams are coming off losses with the Cardinal falling by three points to the hands of Oregon State. Stanford started the week ranked 8th in the country. An Oregon win on Sunday would give the Ducks a signature home win over a Top Ten team and Oregon is primed for the upset. Kelly Graves has seen the Cardinal to close out the season for three straight years, including today.

Oregon Ducks Freshman Sabrina Ionescu hs proven her leadership and her ability on the floor and her confidence does not need to be questioned. She has reset the record books with multiple double doubles and triple doubles. Ionescu will need to have a solid game to beat Stanford along with Freshman Ruthy Hebard who has found her inside shot all season. Lexi Bando is hot from outside the arc entering the week landing over 50 percent of her shots.

Oregon has the Offense to keep pace with Stanford. After watching the game vs Cal earlier this week, Defense is another thing. Cal found ways to easily get shots inside on Oregon. There was not much inside pressure Defense. It also did not help that Oregon had more than 10 turnovers in the game.

Stanford comes into Eugene as the more experienced, more disciplined team. The Cardinal are 41-4 following a loss over the last ten years. They can turn things around quickly. Against Oregon State, the Cardinal held the Beavers to under 30 percent shooting, but OSU came down with 20 Defensive Rebounds. Oregon will have to play physical on Sunday and emotions will be running high.
