The Oregon Ducks held their ground despite winning two road games at Cal and Stanford in this week’s Associated Press Poll.

The showdown of the weekend was UCLA and Arizona. The Bruins took care of business and despite not moving in the AP Poll, Dana Altman and the Oregon Ducks are in good shape to win the Pac-12 Regular Season Title this weekend with a win over Oregon State in the Civil War.

For those concerned about Oregon not moving – calm down. For one, the game against Cal was a night game – the old adage of East Coast bias is still in effect with the Pac-12. Oregon also won a game they could have lost against Stanford. The Ducks should have beaten the Cardinal by double digits.

The two wins did garner Pac-12 Player of the Week honors for Dillon Brooks, his third time earning the Player of the Week this season in the Conference of Champions. The Ducks are clearly one of the best teams entering the Pac-12 Tournament, along with UCLA and Arizona. The Bruins come in 3rd in the AP Poll with Oregon 6th and Arizona 7th.
