The Oregon Ducks swept through the Oregon Invitational last weekend and moved up to number 3 in the latest national poll.

The Oregon Softball team is undefeated this season at 24-0. In fact, they are the last team standing without a loss. Even more impressive they have won 19 games on the road. Florida State lost to Auburn, a team that the Ducks run-ruled, but are still sitting at the top of the USA Today/NFCA Poll.

I’m not making an argument here, but sometimes it makes no sense. You would think that with 24 wins and no losses, Oregon would be ahead, but there is a lot that goes into those numbers – more than what I want to discuss. The Oregon Ducks time will come. Mike White and the Ducks open the month of May with a home series against Florida State.

The poll this week also had Pac-12 foe Arizona rank 5th. Pac-12 play begins this week for Oregon Softball. The Oregon Ducks will host the California Golden Bears this weekend at Jane Sanders Stadium.
