The Oregon Ducks take on a Michigan Wolverines team that can give them matchup problems in several areas on Thursday night.

Last weekend, Rhode Island found a physical way on Defense to cause problems to a usually more consistent Oregon Ducks Offense. Dillon Brooks started 1 for 6 for the game and Oregon was down 11 points at halftime. Oregon battled back in the second half and Tyler Dorsey won the game for Dana Altman and the Ducks in the final minute. More heroics may be needed this week as Oregon faces a solid three point shooting team that is being seen as the ‘Cinderella’ team by some.

The Michigan Wolverines are on a roll after taking care of the Big Ten Championship and knocking off a higher seeded Louisville team last weekend. Both teams are averaging 48 percent from the floor, but the Ducks have the Defensive advantage by +5 in rebounding and despite losing Chris Boucher the Ducks are still one of the top shot blocking teams in the country.

Michigan has three players who are shooting better than 40 percent from beyond the arc. Derrick Walton Jr and Moritz Wagner are the two biggest threats. Each are averaging better than 12 points per game. If it comes down to free throws, the Wolverines are disciplined. As a team they are hitting better than 77 percent with Walton Jr. leading the way at 87 percent.
