The Oregon Ducks Softball team has lost back to back Pac-12 Conference series for the first time in five years, but a 35-0 start has them being respected in the polls.

While the wheels have fallen off recently, more notably hitting vs pitching, the Oregon Ducks can still control their own destiny entering a big series against Arizona this weekend. In the NFCA/USA Today Coaches Poll the Oregon Ducks come in 6th this week, dropping two spots from last week. The Arizona Wildcats come in third place.

The Oregon Ducks can get back on track and also have another opportunity to impress in a few weeks as number 2 Florida State comes to Jane Sanders Stadium for a three-game series.

Mike White will have to watch his team rebound following a rough weekend at UCLA losing two of three. An even worse series loss last weekend may also be tough to overcome. The Ducks saw the same Washington Pitcher in all three games, and still lost the series, but it appears the monstrous start to the year was good for something.

The Oregon Ducks need to remain in the Top 8 to host the Super Regional round in the NCAA Tournament or the Top 16 to host a Regional first round.
