Oregon Football uses technology like everyone else when it comes to recruiting, but a recent post is turning heads in honoring Chad Cota and his son Chase.

The Oregon Ducks Social Media team is at the top of their game week in and week out sharing an inside look at Oregon Athletics, most recently with the first Spring Practice for the Football team. A recent photoshopped pic grabbed my attention. The Cota name with Oregon Football goes back a long way in the minds of Duck fans from the mid 1990s.

Chase Cota is following in his Dad’s footsteps and looking to make a name for himself on the football field. While Chad played on Defense, Chase will play on Offense at Wide Receiver. The image depicts father and son on the same field, set to do battle against each other.

Chase Cota has yet to make his decision. He will be in attendance this weekend at the Oregon Football Spring Game, along with close to fifty other recruits looking to see what Willie Taggart has in store for the program.

Cota is a member of the Class f 2018 and holds offers from Oregon, Alabama, and nearly half the schools in the Pac-12 Conference.
