Oregon cannot afford to get caught looking ahead. A three-game series with Florida State is quickly coming on the horizon. The Ducks need to take care of business this weekend. Oregon hosts Oregon State, a team that is improved from last season and also looking for a postseason berth.

Oregon State has found a hot streak taking two of three games in their last two series against Stanford and UCLA. The Beavers McKenna Ariola leads the team batting just under .400. In the circle, Taylor Cotton has 19 starts and is 10-5 on the year. The series is on Oregon’s side.

The Beavers have not won a game in the series in the last 12 tries, dating back to 2012. Oregon state has not won in Eugene since 2009 when the game was played at Howe Field.

Oregon has a lot on the line this weekend as their Playoff Seeding continues to slip with three series losses. This is the opportunity to right the ship and head into the Florida State series with some momentum.

The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers open their three-game series on Friday(6pm). It continues Saturday(1pm) and Sunday(3pm).
