Oregon Football lost the commitment of Cameron Williams who appears to be weighing his options.

Earlier this week, 3-Star Safety Cameron Williams Decommitted from Oregon Football. While this appears to be of concern, Williams likely wanted to keep his options open as the Summer Progressed.

Williams is one of the more versatile athletes in the Nation, and out west and his stock is clearly rising. Earlier this week he worked out at USC and has a visit planned to the Washington Huskies. Although he decommitted from Oregon, the Ducks are still high on his list of considerations.

Cameron Williams was one of three players to commit during the Oregon Spring Game back in April according to Oregon Diehards. He recently picked up additional offers from Oregon State and Florida and is slated to visit the Huskies on June 22nd.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers have also expressed interest in Williams and now consider themselves back in the market for his services. The Cornhuskers have been on a recruiting run of late and offered Williams on Wednesday. Despite the fact that he will likely stay close to his California home – he does have the Pac-12 Conference at his beck and call at the moment – Nebraska will have some work to do to stay in the mix with the Ducks, Trojans, and Huskies.

Williams holds offers from eight of the twelve teams in the Pac-12 and is considered by 247 Sports to be considering both USC and the Oregon Ducks as front runners ending this week. Despite the decommitment, Oregon Football is still in good shape with the top recruiting class in the Pac-12 Conference with ten commitments.
