Justin Phillips, editor

Sports Reporter for Newsradio 1120 KPNW in Eugene, Oregon. I am from the Philadelphia area originally. (Penn State Alum, Class of 1999.) I have followed Oregon sports since moving to Eugene in 2004. My opinions here are my own. I have worked in the radio industry for fifteen years and look forward to giving you my take on Oregon Athletics.

Mike Vamosi, Staff Writer

Born in Omaha, NE and raised in the southwest suburb of Millard, I attended THE University of Nebraska at Kearney and graduated in May of 2008 with a degree in Sports Administration and Sports Communication minor. Following college I did internships at Florida Tech in Melbourne, FL and Texas A&M-Corpus Christi in their athletic media relations department. I’ve been a long suffering Royals fan having grown up going to Omaha Royals/Golden Spikes/Storm Chasers games both at Rosenblatt Stadium and now Werner Park. Living 180 miles from Kansas City meant that my dad and I go to several games in KC a year. Being only two years old in 1985 I’m waiting for the payoff of being a Royals fan when they end the playoff drought that many of us have all been waiting for and seemingly every fan base other than the Expos/Nationals have enjoyed.

About FanSided

FanSided was born in 2007, when two brothers felt that their favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs, was being under-covered by the mainstream media. Taking matters into their own hands, they launched Arrowhead Addict, a move that would spawn a network of over 290 fan-powered unique sports and entertainment sites dedicated to team-specific, sport-specific, genre-specific, and fanbase-specific coverage.

From sports, movies and TV to lifestyle and tech, FanSided has you covered.
