The Oregon State Beavers are following their big brother to the Big Ten

The secret is out, the Oregon State Beavers have agreed to join the Big Ten conference starting in 2024. Following in big brother’s footsteps, the Beavers are accompanying the Oregon Ducks in their conference realignment.
Oregon State had previously refused to abandon the rapidly sinking Pac-12 ship alongside the Washington State Cougars.
Realizing just how much attention the Ducks – as well as the USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, and Washington Huskies – were getting, the Beavers finally want their 15 seconds of fame.
In 2023, the Beavers finished their season at a disappointing 8-5 overall topped off by a three-game losing streak and bowl game blowout against Notre Dame. Oregon State lost to the Fighting Irish 40-8 in the Sun Bowl.
Apparently, the Beavers believe that they will find more success against the powerhouse teams in the Big Ten.
Last year, Oregon State lost to Oregon and Washington but were able to pull off the miracle win over the abysmal UCLA Bruins.
With minimal wins over their familiar opponents, how will the Beavers fare in their new hunting grounds?
Hopefully, little brother can keep up with big brother’s pace in the big, bad Big Ten.
