Carrington wants to visit other schools, but there is a no-visit policy from the Ducks once a player commits to the university. Because of the rule, Carrington may choose to de-commit. He committed on June 20th.

Autzen Zoo had an in-depth preview on the athlete that plays multiple positions at Horizon – wide receiver, cornerback, and quarterback. Without question, his speed is one of the best compared to all the other seven commitments. His ability to make plays in each position makes for a versatile player if he does wind up playing for the Ducks in 2013.

Why does Carrington want to visit other schools? Each player has a total of five official visits they can use. I can understand Oregon’s use of a no-visit policy, but if a player still has eligibility left, there shouldn’t be a problem for him to visit other schools.

Carrington was “happy to be a Duck” when he first committed. Even if he is looking at other places, that doesn’t mean he’s going to bolt. Oregon fans should respect his options and if he continues with his commitment, the fanbase will be excited to see him play.
