Jonathan Stewart matched a season-high in rushing yards for Carolina and T.J. Ward helped Cleveland put Baltimore in check on offense most of the day to give the Browns a chance to win.

November 4, 2012; Landover, MD, USA; Carolina Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart (28) runs with the ball as Washington Redskins strong safety Reed Doughty (37) defends in the fourth quarter at FedEx Field.
Stewart ran the ball 10 times for 51 yards and also caught the ball once for six yards in the 21-13 victory over Washington. Ward had seven total tackles (three solo), good for third-most on the defensive end for the Browns and he also ranks third overall on the team in total tackles.

Other performances include Ed Dickson on the Ravens with two catches for 11 yards. Jairus Byrd with five total tackles (four solo) in a losing effort with Buffalo against Houston 21-9. LaGarrette Blount ran the ball twice for five yards in Tampa Bay’s 42-32 victory at Oakland.

David Paulson had one catch for seven yards for Pittsburgh in their 24-20 win over the New York Giants. With the Giants, Spencer Paysinger recorded three tackles (all solo).

A lot of players either didn’t play or register stats this week. Baltimore’s Haloti Ngata was active but is still recovering from a shoulder injury. Atlanta’s Drew Davis was also active but was nursing a hamstring injury. Other players not getting into the statistics were Miami’s Josh Kaddu, Philadelphia’s Casey Matthews, San Diego’s Dante Rosario, and Chicago’s Matt Toeaina.
