Mid-Week Duck Links

The football team won’t be the only Oregon sports team to face the LSU Tigers this season. The Oregon women’s soccer team will come up against the Tigers on Friday, September 9th. This will come only six days after the football teams go head to head. The Ducks will be the first team to play a match at the Tiger’s brand new stadium at the LSU Soccer Complex. GO DUCKS!!

In football news, George Schroeder of the Register Guard gives his opinion about the seemingly endless pay-to-play debate in college sports. He makes some very good points in my opinion. I also feel that the value of that college education, and the after-graduation benefits that come from a powerful network, are frequently undervalued in this discussion.
