If you are a Duck fan it was a heartbreaking loss over the weekend against USC. It was a situation we have become unfamiliar with – a game that comes down to the last few seconds. That type of game used to be a frequent occurrence, but lately it has either been an Oregon blowout or a multiple-score Oregon loss. So Oregon is no longer in the “one-loss” discussion, but Roses could still be in their future, and Oregon needs a big win. The Ducks certainly have not conquered the Rose Bowl in their program history. This could be the perfect year for an Oregon statement at the Rose Bowl.
