Oregon lands Dylan Ausherman

The Oregon Ducks have added to their recruiting haul by landing top JUCO punter Dylan Ausherman, and the Rivals two-star recruit is known for his insane hang time of five seconds. Ausherman was the leader of his conference in fair catches last season and had eight punts inside the 20 and six punts of over 50 yards. Ausherman’s strong leg also makes him a quality kick-off specialist, and he is a decent addition for the Ducks.

Fans are more high on Ausherman and view him as a player with the chance to be one of the better punters in the region. That is, the fans who actually know who he is. If Rob Beard isn’t able to play this year, then Ausherman will start right away. If Beard plays, then Auserhman will be redshirted and saved for a later season. The latter scenario is definitely the best one for the Ducks, and the strong-legged punter will hope to keep improving and strive to hold a starting spot for Oregon.
