Evan Voeller will attend Oregon Junior Day
Top offensive guard recruit Evan Voeller- listed as a tackle by Rivals- will attend the Oregon Ducks Junior Day. He is a four-star recruit and one of the top 150 recruits in the 2013 class, but Oregon has not sent an offer to Evan Voeller yet.
He is viewed as the best offensive lineman in the state of Oregon, and there is no doubt that the 6’4″, 285 pound Evan Voeller is a top recruit with offers from schools such as UCLA, Texas A&M, Washington State, Washington, and Purdue. Teams from every conference are clamoring for the offensive lineman, and the West Linn native certainly has a high amount of interest in joining the Ducks.
Despite the interest from Pac-12 schools and the fact that he is from Oregon, Evan Voeller has just as much of a chance of going to a school outside the conference as he does inside the confines of the Pac-12. He definitely likes Oregon, but there are many teams- including SEC powerhouse Alabama- who could sway him into joining one of those teams.
The best characteristic to his game is his incredible strength and work ethic, and his ability to just drive players back and get to the second level makes him a perfect guard. The Oregon Ducks could definitely do with a talented offensive lineman in the future, and Evan Voeller certainly fits this bill with strength that can only be described as elite. This is one four-star OL recruit to watch closely, because he is getting recruited from schools all across the country.
