Luke Ridnour scores 10 in loss
Well, there is only one former Oregon Ducks player who plays in the NBA, and that is former Ducks star point guard Luke Ridnour. He led the team to their last Pac-12 Tournament championship, so the great passing/free throw shooting point guard obviously holds a special place in our hearts.
Although in the midst of a subpar season, Luke Ridnour played a solid game for the Minnesota Timberwolves in their narrow 105-102 loss over the Los Angeles Lakers. The 21-20 T’Wolves shot 40% from downtown, which was the exact same mark that Ridnour posted from three (2-5). He went 4-11 overall with ten points in a quality outing during 39 minutes.
Luke Ridnour had three turnovers and three assists, along with a steal. He averaged .71 points per possession with a 45.5 eFG%. Fine, he didn’t play that well (+4 EFF), but we have to stay positive when talking about the only former Duck in the NBA.
