Brayden Kearsley and Pac-12

Four-star guard/tackle recruit Brayden Kearsley is ranked as one of the top ten guards by Scout and one of the top 35 tackles by 247Sports. He is currently committed to the BYU Cougars, but that has not stopped five Pac-12 teams from recently sending offers to the big, talented offensive line recruit who is an intelligent player overall.

Arizona State, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington, and Colorado are five teams that have recently sent offers to Brayden Kearsley. The Oregon Ducks have not offered to the offensive lineman from Oregon, and they are viewed as having a way outside chance for the recruit.

At this point, Colorado, UCLA, and Washington are the only three teams that can sway Brayden Kearsley at this point. The Sun Devils, USC, Arkansas, and FSU are also teams that are in the race. Notre Dame also has an outside chance, but don’t expect the Irish or the Ducks to bring Kearsley into their respective schools.

The Pac-12 is starting to heat up and have found a gem in the 6’5″ lineman who can bench 305 with a 5.1 40, but it seems like he is going to stay loyal- he has been loyal to this point- to BYU. However, Brayden Kearsley is wisely going to keep his options open to ensure that he doesn’t bypass a school he would have been interested in. Expect Kearsley to visit a few more schools, mainly in the Pac-12 but also the two big boys in the southeast, before making his final decision.
