Second Round Match-ups, we’ll assume the higher seed will host these games
5 Akron Zips at 1 Washington Huskies – The pick: Washington
Washington until they leave the comforts of Seattle is my pick.
7 Iowa Hawkeyes at 3 Oregon Ducks – The pick: Oregon
Iowa isn’t a good road team and I expect that to hold up at the Matt.
4 Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders at 1 Tennessee Volunteers – The pick: Middle Tennessee State
I like the Blue Raiders to make the short trip to Knoxville and get the win.
6 Minnesota Golden Gophers at 2 Miami (FL) Hurricanes – The pick: Miami (FL)
Minnesota won’t be more athletic than the ‘Canes like they were in round one in my opinion.
5 Massachusetts Minutemen at 1 Seton Hall Pirates – The pick: Seton Hall
Another even match-up but I lean towards the power-six team.
7 Northern Iowa Panthers at 1 Drexel Dragons – The pick: Drexel
UNI can take down one A10 Philly team but not a second.
4 Oral Roberts Golden Eagles at 1 Arizona Wildcats – The pick: Arizona
I like Oral Bob but I feel the Wildcats have too many shooters plus it’s in Tucson.
3 Stanford Cardinal at 2 Mississippi Rebels – The pick: Mississippi
No Pac12 quarterfinal here as I feel the Rebels get the win in Oxford.
