Oregon Ducks at Washington Huskies NIT Quarterfinals Rapid Reaction

Seattle, Wash. – The Oregon Ducks (24-10) NIT run came to an end on Tuesday night, with a 90-86 quarterfinals loss at archrival Washington (24-10). Oregon led 46-42 in an up-tempo game from start to finish but the Huskies outscored the visitors 48-40 in the second half.
The Ducks had four players in double-figures led by Olu Ashaolu 20, E.J. Singler 19 who fouled out with just over a minute left in the game, Tony Woods 15, Devoe Joseph 12. Washington also had four players scoring in double-figures lead by Terrence Ross putting in 24, Tony Wroten 22, C.J. Wilcox 17 and Abdul Gaddy 11 who also had 10 assists and seven rebounds just missing out on a triple-double.
Next up for the Huskies will be a trip to the NIT semifinals at Madison Square Garden next week against tomorrow night’s Minnesota at Middle Tennessee State winner.
