A five-star recruit from Findlay Prep in Nevada has narrowed down his choices to five schools which includes Oregon, and one of his teammates is already going to the Ducks.

Anthony Bennett was a senior forward for the Pilot that went 31-1 this past season and dominated most of their competition. According to MaxPreps.com, Bennett averaged 14.5 points and 7.7 rebounds a game. He is as high as 7th ranked overall on Rivals.com and Scout.com.

During the 2012 Nike Hoop Summit, Bennett talked to OregonLive.com about how he thought he “could come in and be a huge impact on the team.”

Among his list of finalists, along with Oregon, is recently crowned Kentucky, Pac-12 rival Washington, Florida, and UNLV. His former teammate, Dominic Artis, has already committed to the Ducks for 2012. Bennett admitted during the Summit that Artis constantly talks about them playing together in Oregon.

“Everytime time there’s down time, he’s like you should come to Oregon with me,” said Bennett. “We could be that one-two punch.”

The last time Bennett saw action was last Wednesday in McDonald’s High School All-American Game, where he had nine points and six rebounds in 13 minutes of play.
