Michael Hutchings Gets Offer From Utah, Two Others

Four-star linebacker, Michael Hutchings, has gotten three new offers on Wednesday. This included Pac-12 school, Utah, in the mix.
The 6-foot-2, 215-pound athlete from Concord, California, who has received a total of 20 offers. The latest are the aforementioned Utes, along with Fresno State and Purdue. According to 247sports, Hutchings has an interest in 16 of the schools. USC is his highest interest, while Oregon sits as one of the seven more he’s more interested in than the rest. The Ducks join the ranks of other football powerhouses that have offered him, such as Notre Dame, Michigan, and Oklahoma.
Hutchings is coming off of his junior season with one of the highest high school spotlights in the country, De La Salle. He played both running back and linebacker. He was used as a multi-purpose back, taking 14 carries for 88 yards and grabbed six catches for 127 yards and one touchdown all season. While used sparingly on offense, he shined as linebacker with 30 tackles and 27 assists on the season. There were also two sacks and an interception.
Along with the other schools mentioned, Hutchings has received an offer from Miami, UCLA, Washington, Boise State, California, Colorado, Mississippi, Nebraska, Texas A&M, Washington State, Arizona, Arizona State, Oregon State, and Tennessee. The only school that has not offered the linebacker in the Pac-12 yet is Stanford.
According to 247sports, Hutchings does not have an interest in either Arizona schools, Oregon’s rival, or the Volunteers.
