Oregon Offers Scott Quessenberry
By Brian Spaen
The Ducks have offered lineman Scott Quessenberry from Encinitas, California, by coach Steve Greatwood, according to multiple reports.
Quessenberry is a 6-foot-4, 265-pound athlete who is dynamic at the lane, playing at offensive guard, defensive tackle, and center at La Costa Canyon. 247sports is the only recruiting service to have him in their top overall list (Top 247) at 144th. He is listed as a four-star recruit, sixth overall at offensive guard, and 17th in the state of California. Rivals and ESPN do not have him ranked yet.
12 days ago, Quessenberry had his top four teams selected. That list may or may not have included his hometown school, San Diego State. However, it was one of the schools that was reportedly a favorite. Now after the Oregon offer, 247sports list four schools that are at a higher interest level, which includes the Ducks, Nebraska, UCLA, and Wisconsin.
Other schools that have offered the lineman include Arizona, Arizona State, Southern Methodist, and Washington State.
