The action continued in Tucson, Arizona as the #1 seeded Arizona Wildcats took on the #4 seeded Missouri Tigers. This was a match-up between a Pac-12 Co-Champion and the Big 12 Tournament Champion. Missouri jumped out to an early one run lead in the 2nd inning, but a seven run explosion by Arizona in the 4th inning sealed the deal in the Arizona 15-3 win.

In this game, Arizona set ace Kurt Heyer to the mound. Heyer ended up pitching a complete game where he gave up three runs (two earned) on four hits, two walks, and seven strikeouts. Heyer finished the game with an ERA of 2.03. Missouri set Blake Holovach to the mound in this game. Holovach was pulled from the game after only three and a third innings. In his short time, Holovach gave up six runs (all earned) on ten hits, zero walks, and one strikeout. Holovach had an ERA of 5.53 when he was pulled in the 4th inning.

The bats for Arizona seemed to be working in full force against Missouri. Arizona had eight players with RBIs (Joey Rickard, Johnny Field, Alex Mejia, Robert Reysnyder, Seth Mejias-Brean, Bobby Brown, Riley Moore, and Trent Gilbert). The stand-out player for Arizona came in the form of Joey Rickard. Rickard had the most RBIs on the team with four total (two coming from a triple in the 4th inning). He also went 3 for 5 and scored three runs himself. The only Missouri player to have a good game was Blake Brown. Brown went 2 for 2 with a run, an RBI, and two walks. The biggest bust for Missouri in this game was Dane Opel who went 0 for 4 with four strikeouts.
