A four-star offensive tackle from California has narrowed his list of choices to five teams. The Ducks are one of the four teams included in the Pac-12, and the other is a Big 12 powerhouse.

According to a tweet by Greg Biggins, the 6-foot-5, 240-pound tackle “said he’s down to [five teams].” This list included Oregon, USC, UCLA, California, and Oklahoma.

Seven other Pac-12 schools that offered were left off Falah’s final list, which included both Washington schools and in-state rival Oregon State. The only conference school that was not involved with the offensive tackle was Stanford. Others that offered and were left off of note were Nebraska, Notre Dame, San Diego State, Tennessee, and Florida.

There is a highlight video that shows some of the recruit’s junior season at St. John Bosco in Bellflower, California. It shows Falah has a tremendous ability to stay on his assignment due to his size. He seems to be aware of where the ball is once he takes his target down. Something to look forward to is how he adjusts to special moments where the ball is loose on the ground.

Falah would be a great addition to the 2013 recruiting class. The left tackle is one area that will not have a returning starter, but he matches up well with sophomore Jake Fisher and redshirt freshman Tyler Johnstone on the depth chart, both who would likely be back next season.
