The Pac-12 will have the Arizona Wildcats playing for the championship which starts on Sunday night at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. Arizona will not know its opponent until tonight as two-time defending national champion South Carolina play Arkansas in a elimination game.

Arizona will be going for its fourth national title in baseball and first since 1986 when the Wildcats defeated Florida State 10-2 in the finals. Andy Lopez, has led his first team to the championship game/series since leading Cinderella Pepperdine to the 1992 CWS title when the Waves beat Cal State Fullerton 3-2. As a program it will be Arizona’s seventh time in the championship game but first in the best-of-three finals which was adopted in 2003.
