The Oregon Ducks currently have offers out to two of the top wide receivers in the country.  Ricky Seals-Jones is currently listed as the 16th best prospect in the country via 247Sports.com.  The scouting service also has him as the top athlete and the top recruit in Texas.  He had originally committed to the University of Texas but decommitted from the school last month (June 5th).

Seals-Jones is 6’5”, 230 lbs. from Sealy, Texas.  He has been timed at 4.6 in the forty-yard dash.  He plays quarterback at Sealy High School but projects as a wide receiver in college.  Last season Seals-Jones threw for 761 yards and eight scores and also rushed for 1,245 yards and 15 touchdowns.

In his sophomore season of 2010, he caught 31 passes for 512 yards and 11 scores.  Rivals.com lists him as their 18th overall prospect, the top-ranked wide receiver and the second best recruit in Texas.  Scout.com lists his strengths as body control, downfield threat and red zone weapon.  They would like to see improvement in his quickness off the line of scrimmage.  Seals-Jones also plays basketball.

Robert Foster is a 6’3”, 190 lb. receiver from Monaca, Pennsylvania and Central Valley High School.  Foster is the 21st ranked prospect in the country by 247Sports.com, the second best receiver and the second ranked prospect in Pennsylvania.  He has been timed in the 40-yard dash at 4.49 seconds and plays safety on defense.

Rivals.com has Foster as their 34th ranked recruit in the country, the fourth best receiver and the second best prospect in Pennsylvania.  He is the second ranked receiver in the country behind Seals-Jones according to Scout.com.  Scout.com has his strengths as the ability to get downfield, size and speed while he needs to improve his route-running.

This past season, Foster rushed the ball 36 times for 419 yards and two scores.  He also caught 37 passes for 584 yards and five touchdowns.  In 2010, he rushed the ball 45 times for 406 yards and three touchdowns while catching 25 passes for 520 yards and seven scores.

The Oregon Ducks are in his top seven college choices.  Foster is also considering Alabama, Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Pittsburgh and USC.
