The 22nd ranked Arizona Wildcats come to Autzen Stadium to take on the third ranked Oregon Ducks this Saturday.  Arizona is being coached now by Rich Rodriguez who was formerly with the University of Michigan and West Virginia.  Rodriguez brings in an explosive offense that is currently ranked 12th in the nation in points per game (46.3), fourth in offensive yards (604.7) and seventh in passing yards (370).

Arizona’s Matt Scott (Matt Kartozian-US Presswire)

The Wildcats are led by senior quarterback Matt Scott who already has more passing yards three games into this season than he had in any other year.  Scott has already thrown for 995 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception.  He has also rushed for 190 yards and two scores.  In Arizona’s 56-0 win against South Carolina State last week he passed for 288 yards with three scores and added 61 rushing yards and an additional touchdown.

Ka’Deem Carey is the biggest threat on the ground for Arizona.  Carey is a 5-foot-10 and 203 pound sophomore.  Carey carried the ball 20 times for 147 yards with a touchdown in the opening game against Toledo.  His biggest statistical game came in the win over Oklahoma State.  Carey ran the ball 26 times for 126 yards and three scores.  He also added four catches for 28 yards with an additional score.  This season he has 59 carries for 344 yards with five rushing touchdowns so far this year.  He will be a threat to the Oregon defense with his 5.8 yards a carry average.

The big playmaker on the outside is wide receiver Austin Hill.  Hill is a big sophomore receiver that stands 6-foot-3 and weighs 211 pounds.  He only has one touchdown on the season but he averages 18.8 yards a catch.  His best game was the opener where he caught seven passes for 139 yards and a score.  He has caught five passes each the last two games and has 17 receptions for 319 yards and one score this season. That’s compared to only catching 21 passes for 311 yards and two scores last year.
