Both teams sat out multiple players with injuries after destroying their inferior FCS opponents last Saturday.
For Arizona, two linebackers took off the game against South Carolina State. Dakota Conwell is nursing a foot injury while Greg Nwoko is still recovering from a sore hip. Both players have sat out the previous two games and are listed as questionable against Oregon. Another linebacker, Rob Hankins, suffered a concussion last week that will sideline him for the rest of the season.
On offense, lineman Cayman Bundage, who’s also missed two games and is listed as questionable, is recovering from a knee injury.
Safety Adam Hall and offensive lineman Jack Baucus haven’t played this season and are out for the entire year with a shoulder injury and torn ACL during preseason practice, respectively. Defensive lineman Justin Washington is being suspended for violating team rules and is still serving his punishment.
For Oregon, it will be tough to go into the season without senior leaders John Boyett at safety and Carson York at guard. Among those who didn’t play last week were leading wide receiver Josh Huff, who suffered a leg injury against Fresno State and still remains questionable against the Wildcats. Linebacker Keloni Kamalani “has been seen with his arm in a sling” and was sidelined for the previous two weeks. Defensive tackle Jared Ebert has a knee injury, and both players are also questionable.
The Ducks don’t conduct an official injury report. Quotes and injury information from USA Today’s college football injury report and Sports Direct.
