Pac-12 Football Recap: Week Four

The Pac-12 had a full slate of conference play this weekend with Stanford and Washington getting the week off before their Thursday night contest in Seattle. Colorado had the shocker of the weekend since they actually won a game. Oregon State was a close runner-up going into the Rose Bowl and handing UCLA its first loss of the season. Here are the full results from the Pacific 12 Conference this weekend.

Saturday, September 22
Oregon State (2-0, 1-0) 27 @ 19 UCLA (3-1, 0-1) 20 – Oregon State has played only two games this season, in both they’ve knocked off ranked foes in surprising fashion. Credit the Beavers for holding the Bruins to 2-of-15 on third downs.
Colorado (1-3, 1-0) 35 @ Washington State (2-2, 0-1) – Trailing Washington State 28-14 heading into the fourth quarter and 31-14 with 14:47 remaining Colorado outscored the Cougs 21-3. Nelson Spruce had 103 yards on eight catches with a touchdown in the shocker.
California (1-3, 0-1) 9 @ 13 Southern California (3-1, 1-1) 27 – Despite what the scoreboard says the Bears were in this most of the game. Penn State transfer Silas Redd had 158 yards on 21 carries reaching the endzone once.
Utah (2-2, 0-1) 7 @ Arizona State (3-1, 1-0) 37 – Arizona State jumped out to a 21-0 lead after one quarter against visiting Utah and took a 31-7 lead to the half before tacking on two second half field goals. Sun Devil quarterback Taylor Kelly was 19-of-26 with 326 yards and threw for three TD’s.
22 Arizona (3-1, 0-1) 0 @ 3 Oregon (4-0, 1-0) 49 – Arizona was 0-for-6 in the red zone, they turned the ball over and on downs plus had a blocked field goal. Sophomore cornerback Ifo Ekpre-Olomu had two interceptions with a TD as did fellow sophomore Troy Hill who had one pick with a score and senior Kiko Alonso added an INT.
