Oregon Ducks Football: Three Huskies on Offense

The second ranked Oregon Ducks welcome the twenty-third ranked Washington Huskies to Autzen Stadium tomorrow at 7:30 pm PT.  The Huskies are 3-1 on the season and 1-0 in the Pac-12.  They are coming to Eugene after upsetting Stanford at home last Thursday by a score of 17-13.  The Huskies enter the game as the tenth ranked offense in the Pac-12 averaging 23.2 points a game.

Washington is led on offense by junior quarterback Keith Price.  Price made a name for himself after a huge sophomore season.  He completed 242 of 362 passes last season for a completion percentage of 66.9.  Price threw for 3,063 yards with 33 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.

Price has been off to a slow start this season.  Through the first four games he has completed 75 of 127 passes for 737 yards.  He has thrown for five touchdowns and has had two passes intercepted.  Price is averaging 184.2 passing yards a game.

The Huskies average 119.2 yards a game on the ground and their top back is Bishop Sankey.  Sankey is a 5-foot-10 and 200 pound sophomore.  He has carried the ball 64 times this season for 329 yards and four touchdowns.  He has also caught six passes for an additional 39 yards.

Sankey has passed his rushing statistics from a year ago.  As a freshman, he ran the ball 28 times for 187 yards and one score.  He has scored a rushing touchdown in three of the four games this season and is coming off a big game against Stanford.  Sankey rushed the ball twenty times for 144 yards and one score against the Cardinals.

Sophomore Kasen Williams is the leading receiver on the team and one of the best in the conference.  Williams is a bigger receiver at 6-foot-2 and 216 pounds.  He is tied for fifth in the Pac-12 in receptions per game at 6.2 and is eighth in receiving yards a game with 73.  He has caught 25 passes for 292 yards and three scores this season.  As a freshman he caught 36 balls for 427 yards and six touchdowns.
