Ducks Roundtable: Deciding the game ball between Barner and Thomas
By Brian Spaen
In Saturday’s 70-14 domination of Colorado, Oregon’s De’Anthony Thomas and Kenjon Barner combined for 200 yards and three touchdowns on the ground in a dominating display of offense against a well-overmatched Buffaloes team. If you could give the game ball to just one of these players, who would give it to?

Joe: I usually pick Barner because I love his consistency, but DAT averaged nearly 20 yards per carry. There is no way I give Barner the game ball over him.
Raymond: Thomas is more explosive but Barner has been the most consistent player all season. Thomas has disappeared in some games but that could be attributed to the Ducks being so far ahead. Barner is a legit Heisman candidate and arguably the Ducks’ MVP so far.
Mike: Tough question as to who gets the game ball from Saturday’s beatdown of the Buffs. For his incredible punt return I’ll give it to De’Anthony Thomas since Kenjon Barner has done well the past couple of weeks.
Brian: I would give it to Thomas. Barner had more all-purpose yards, but the ridiculous punt return that DAT had in the second quarter single-handedly gives him the game ball this week for me.
