Oregon Ducks Football Recruiting: Marquis Ware visiting UCLA
2014 OLB/TE Marquis Ware is one of the top 100 recruits in the 2014 recruiting class, and he is taking his second visit to a school in Los Angeles this month to watch the big rivalry game between the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins as an unofficial visitor for UCLA. Ware visited USC a couple of weeks ago and saw the Oregon Ducks take down the Trojans. This will be the L.A.-area recruit’s second visit to UCLA in the fall.

Ware currently holds nine offers from Arizona, Stanford, Oregon State, Washington State, Boise State, Memphis, Texas A&M, UCLA, and Colorado. He also has interest from Oregon, USC, Washington, and Wisconsin. The four-star athlete has a high amount of interest in both Oregon and USC, but a win for UCLA could have a chance of making a huge impression on Ware early on in his recruitment and make the Bruins a bigger player.
The Bishop Mora Salesian star is one of the top ten ranked athletes in the 2014 class and is rated by 247Sports as the fifth-best recruit in the state of California. The 6’2″, 215 pound athlete is one of at least 20 recruits expected to be at the UCLA-USC game, making the ramifications of this city rivalry even greater.
